Odd but great amphibious cars
Although most drivers are perfectly content with cars limited to use on the road, there will always be some who desire the adventurous edge of a car that is as much at home in the surf as it is on the turf. And we aren't only talking about secret service agents. Of course amphibious cars are nothing new. The first military application of water-going vehicles dates back to the 1930s while civilian amphibians have been around since the swinging 1960s. This article pays tribute to them all - from the inspired and practical to the truly oddball.

Paying more than a passing homage to 007's deep-sea-diving Lotus Esprit, Rinspeed based its fun sQuba concept on the modern Lotus Elise to create the world's first real submersible amphibious car. Capable of diving to depths of 10m (after you open the doors to allow water in), sQuba passengers receive oxygen through an integrated tank of compressed air.

The 21 Strangest Conspiracy Theories

The 21 Best

Here at the Conspiracy section of truTV.com, we like to be at the cutting edge of what theories are out there.

One way we do that is with our Tipline, wherein we encourage you, the public, to submit conspiracy theories you think we should investigate. While we aren't able to follow up on every tip (and where does on start with a theory that says simply "JFK was murdered," for example?), we do get many interesting ones that we wish we could explore further. These, we feel, are the best of the best.

Although they have been edited for length and content, each tip retains the original intent of the submission from a real reader. As always, keep the suggestions coming, and remember that the only dumb question is the one that isn't asked.
