Emma watson pole dancing

Emma Watson was spotted partying at a pole-dancing club until 2am after the final Harry Potter premiere.

The 21-year-old British actress has been hitting the red carpet a great deal recently to promote Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, the final instalment in the wizard movie franchise that made her an international star.

Emma attended the final premiere in New York on Monday night, and according to spies celebrated afterwards in a rather wild fashion.

The beautiful star, famed for portraying straight-laced Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter movies, was seen at a go-go bar in the Big Apple where she was surrounded by pole dancers.

"She was really enjoying herself. There were a few scantily-clad girls around but Emma didn't bat an eyelid,” a source is quoted as saying in British newspaper The Sun.

"There are a few poles in the club but she didn't have a go. After such a big night it's no wonder she wanted to let her hair down.

"She had a smile on her face the whole time before calling it a night around 2am."

Emma isn’t the first Harry Potter star to shed her clean-cut image. It was recently revealed that Daniel Radcliffe, 21, who plays the franchise’s title character, had suffered an alcohol problem when he was in his late teens.

"I became so reliant on [alcohol] to enjoy stuff," he confessed during an interview with GQ.

However, Emma has explained she had always been unaware of her co-star’s alcohol issues. The actress appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman on Monday night and was quizzed on Daniel’s drinking.

“To be honest, it's really not something that I genuinely know much about,” she confessed.

“But as far as I know, he never took a sick day. He was like the most professional, amazing guy ever.”

Emma added that she can be partial to the odd alcohol beverage herself. She was quick to point out that she has been legally allowed to drink in the UK for many years.

“I mean, yes, I have tried spirits! Of course, I've tried spirits,” she smiled. “We drink at 18 in the UK! But I'm actually legal to drink now in the US. It's worth mentioning, I'm 21!”
